Greg Noonan, President, Gregory A. Noonan and Associates, has 25 + years of experience as a senior financial executive and consultant specializing in strategy execution, financial management and analysis, mergers and acquisitions, efficiency and process improvement, and project implementation.
He has managed high performing finance teams and served as strategy and project leader on numerous growth, profitability, and process improvement initiatives for financial service firms of all sizes. As a consultant, Greg has worked successfully with many community and regional banks on strategic planning, business line management, performance management, merger analysis and integration, profitability analysis, credit and financial process improvement, branch productivity, financial systems evaluation and design, and operational productivity.
Greg was formerly senior vice president of corporate planning at Regions Financial, Inc. and Union Planters Corporation in Memphis, Tennessee. Greg also served as senior vice president of corporate planning and mergers with Amcore Financial, Inc. in Rockford, Illinois and as controller and operations manager of a lending division at Corus Bancorp, Inc. in Chicago. His career began in community banking at River Forest State Bank and Iroquois Bank, both in Illinois.
Greg holds a B.S. in Finance from Marquette University. Greg’s education training includes extensive course work in strategic planning from the American Management Association, merger and acquisition expertise from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, and as an “honors” graduate of the IBA graduate school of banking at Southern Illinois University. He received Sheshunoff’s certification in financial management early in his career.
