Kevin McAuliffe, President, McAuliffe Financial, LLC, has over 25 years’ experience advising and representing banks in a variety of financial and strategic corporate development activities including investor relations, capital planning, M&A advisory, de novo formations, loan portfolio valuations, and mutual-to-stock conversions. Kevin has been involved in over 160 mutual-to-stock conversion offerings over his career.
Kevin’s knowledge and experience in banking provides insight into ways banks can maximize profitability in the current environment. Additionally, he has a clear understanding of how bank operations are interpreted by the external interests of shareholders, members and/or regulators. His experience can help guide financial institutions through shareholder relations issues as well as expediting regulatory applications and correspondence.
Kevin’s broad expertise was shaped by his work with hundreds of banks and thrifts as an investment banker and consultant. He was Senior Vice President with FIG Partners, LLC and was responsible for establishing their investment banking division in 2004. Earlier in his career, Kevin was Senior Vice President of Capital Resources Group, Inc. in Washington, DC including President of Capital Resources, Inc., a broker/dealer servicing the banking sector. In these capacities, Kevin provided advice and representation on investment banking activities including structuring financial terms of transactions, financial forecasting, mark‑to‑market analyses, preparation of business plans, fairness opinions, valuation appraisals for thrift institutions converting from mutual to stock form of ownership, and analyses and assistance in branch purchase and sale transactions.
Kevin received his B.B.A., Finance from the University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY.
